I do come from Alabama but often struggle with the same questions. I think waterfront or mountain living would be wonderful. I would complain about wherever I was though. Human nature. I would love to migrate seasonally to follow the best weather. Summers in Colorado or Montana, winters in Alabama and Florida and Peru. Maybe someday
